Thursday, 26.

Yesterday, finally, we finished the magazine and the we had to retouch the magazine because some things moved. We had lunch in the library and then we had to play a game which called Treasure Hunting. Esther, Rodrigo and I had to go until the Anglia Ruskin University and we had to look for the Quiet Room and took a photo with it. Then we went to around Cambridge, like the King's College, Trinity College o Emmanuel College. We had to go to The Backs, too, with the sun, this was awful... Then we met with the others in the Parker's Piece and we waited Serafin and Maria.
Then we arrived home and we had to cook the dinner, we cook chicken steaks with Roquefort sauce, it was very well. After dinner we catched the bus and went at centre in Grafton Centre to go at Salsa Lessons, but everybody was old people. Then we went at Parker's Piece and stayed there listened music.

Wednesday, 25.

Yesterday we went to the library like everyday and those last days we worked so hard because we haven't got enough time to finish the magazine. We did the magazine and we had to rewrite some sections because we had to write with our own words and we had to put more photos and looks like a real magazine. Then we went to Parker's Piece for lunch and then Esther, Maria and I went to Primark to buy some presents. When we finished we arrived home and we were relaxing in the garden.
At six o'clock Claudia and Maria arrived and we started the Book Club and each one had to explain our book. We had a good time because the Book Club is a way to speak a lot. Then the cooking team made the dinner and after dinner we had some free time and Serafin, Rodrigo, Maria, Esther and I were in the living room and we told some laugh experiences. Afterwards, we started to make the guide videos around Cambridge and we laughed so much with a video of an ugly boy that he called Johnny.

Tuesday, 23: Ghost Tour.

Yesterday we went to the library and we had to do our work there. Really, yesterday we worked a lot, because we had to finish the magazine and it's so long. Then we had lunch in the library and later we had a bit of free time and then we had to do an interview about the Olympic Games. For example, questions like, ''What do you think about the Olympics?'' or ''Do you agree or disagree with the Olympic Games?'', it was funny.

We arrived home very early because we had to do a Ghost Tour. When we finished the dinner we started to make up and dressed up like a ghost or zombies. When we went out everybody looked at us, we looked like a group of crazy people. Then we walked around the centre of Cambridge and visited all the places where strange things happened like Colleges Ghosts or The Haunted BookShop.

Monday 23.

Yesterday we could wake up a bit later and we went to the bowling alley but when the bus stopped in other bus stop far from the shopping centre, we took a wrong way and we almost went out of Cambridge, but we returned and took the good way and arrived at the bowling alley. We spent a very good time. In the beginning I was so bad to -> at playing but then I played better. After that we arrived home and we ate hotdogs. It was really good.
Then we had free time until four o'clock. At five o'clock we were going at -> to a park to play cricket.

Weekend, 20, 21, 22.

Friday.
We went to the library and we had to do a presentation of our wook about Ely and Grantchester. And at lunch time we ate in the library on a sofa.
In the afternoon we went to Harry's and we met with Harry's people. Then we went to puntings and Maria, Esther, Claudia and I went with two Harry's people and a boy who led us in puntings. After that, we had to run until Claudia's University because there we had a taekwondo lessons. We had a good time because it's a martial art and when you do a movement you have to do a sound, it's so funny.

Saturday.
Maria, Claudia, Rodrigo, Serafin and I went to Ely and Maria and Esther went to London because Esther's parents came. Ely is a little village in Cambridshire, but it has a big cathedral. The cathedral is one of the most important buildings in England. When we arrived to the cathedral there was a show about a lot of countries of Africa or Asia. And there was food too, we didn't think twice and we took some food, this was so funny.  We spent the day there, and we walked near the river, we had a good day.

Sunday.
On Sunday we had free time all day and Esther, Maria and I went shopping and we bought a lot of things and then we felt a bit bad because we had spent a lot of money, but then we felt good again when we saw our new things. We met with Serafin and Rodrigo and we went to eat in Bella Italia. Then we arrived soon home because it was a sunny day.

Thusday 19.

We went to the library again, like everyday and we did the magazine and updated our blogs. In the afternoon when we had to have our lunch we didn't have a place where we could have lunch. We went to a bike's parking and we had lunch there. Later we had some free time and Maria, Esther and I went to Starbucks and we sit there and took free wi-fi, then we went to Andy's to talk in conversations in English with international people. We had to speak about sports, films, music and the future. Then we played a game that was like password, it was so funny.

When we arrived home we had a bit of free time and later we had to speak about our books and did a little summary. Yesterday it was a good day.

Wednesday 18; Murder Dinner.

Yesterday it was a rainy day like everyday, it's awful because you always have to go with umbrella and coat. We went to the library like everyday and we did our work and then we had to read our book because we will do a book club. 

Later we went to have lunch in the library because the guard isn't outdoors. Then we went to American Cemetery, it's a cemetery where the bodies of the dead in World War I and World War II are buried. There is a wall with the names of the people who were missed. There are 3812 people burried. This cemetery is very impressive because the graves are white and form a diamon, all of these are placed accurately. There are two kind of graves, the Jews with a star of David instead a cross and the Christians were like a cross. In this cemetery there are 20 woman burried and one medal of honor, Leon Vance.

In the evening we made the ''Murder Dinner'' and after dinner we got up the costumes like our characters. We laughed so much, because the characters were very funny.

Tuesday 17.

Yesterday we finished the magazine but we have to do again because it wasn't very well.
Then we went to have lunch at Jesus Green, it was a park but there were a lot bugs and they didn't let eat (specially me). When we finished, we decided to go to the centre. Maria, Esther and I run into ''Caja registradora''.
In the afternoon we met the Christian group and we went with them a tour for the Colleges. We entered St. John's College and this College is very big and beautiful inside. Then they told us the story for which St John College and Trinity College were enemies. We entered Clare's College too, this College had big gardens with a lot of flowers. Then we went to King's College and we entered in the Chapel, it's impressive.

Monday 16, Cinema Day.

Yesterday it was the most rainiest day ever I think, we went to the library again like every day and we wrote our weekend in the blog and then we had to go to Claudia's university again because the parks were so wet.
At 15:00 we went at cinema because at 15:30 the film started. The film was called ''Five-years engagement'' the film was about a couple that was engaged, but for some things and others they had to delay the wedding. The girl, Violet, was studying at a university far away and Tom, her fiance, went with her. In the end they could marry.
Later Esther, Maria and I went with Claudia and Maria to the supermarket.
In the evening the boys and I tried to cook but the first omelette was a failure but it was ate.
Later, we listened to our favourites songs and the others had to say what the song meant for themselves. It was a good day.

Weekend, 14, 15, 16.

On Friday we went to the library again and we updated our blogs and did the magazine, in the afternoon we were playing famous British sports, like cricket or frisby. We didn't know the rules of cricket and we had to learn it, it's a bit difficult, but it's like baseball. Then we met people the Christian Club.
On Satuday, (finally) we could wake up later and we had to do a bit of the magazine and then we went to Claudia's university and we had lunch there. Then we met Mathew and we started our tour with the bikes. For me, the begining was a bit difficult because we had to go to the road and in that moment there was a lot of traffic, then we went to a park and a road in the country we arrived at Granchester. It was a funny experience.
And on Sunday, we had free time all day. In the morning we had a British breakfast with beans... bacon, toast with butter, fried eggs and orange juice or milk. Then we had the rest of the day for ourselves. Maria, Esther and I went to a lot of shops and we tried on a lot of clothes and bought some clothes too. In the evening we came back home and we watched Titanic and Shrek.
This weekend was fantastic.

Thursday 12; Fliming around Cambridge

Yesterday we went to the library like everyday and we has to update our blogs and then we looked for some legends about Cambridge, for example, I found a horror legend about Corpus Chrity College. The legend said that the Doctor Butts took his life and during the earlier 20th century people could see his ghost like a white dressed and a marc in his throat. I found other stories about the Colleges of Cambridge.
Then we went to park for had lunch because yesterday was a good day, there was sun and even we could be with t-shirt!
Later we started our tour around Cambridge for filming the places we had to choose. The firts place was King's College and Serafin had to explain this, then was my turn and I had to explain The Eagle, it's a historic pub in Cambridge, it had four hundred years! The Eagle lived the discoverment of the "secret of life" and the severment of British and American flying aces during the Second World War and you can see inside the pub the names or the squadrom numbers in the ceiling.
Then we had some free time and we walked for the centr of Cambridge and we sit on grass of the Piece's Park. This place is like a "La Curva" in Merida! Then we had to come back alone at home, this wasn't a difficult work because we know the bus we had to take. At night we told the legend that we found in the library

Wednesday 11; FitzWilliam Museum and Horror Stories

Yesterday we came back to the library and we started ours tasks, for example, we updated our blogs and our diaries and we searched horror stories for the night too. Then I had to look for information about the Mathematical Bridge, its history and who designed and built it. I had to ask a librarian of Cambridshire Colletion to help me.
In the afternoon we went to have lunch at Claudia's university and then we had to find the way to arrive at Fitzwilliam Museum. This work isn't difficult because we had a map; we only asked once a man which was the way. When we arrived at Fitzwilliam Museum we left ours bags and coats and we visited the museum, there are a lot of expositions, for example, there was an Egyptian exposition with a tombs of pharaohs and there were figures of cats or other animals were important in the Egyptian times. There were a Greek and Roman expositions with some figures and utensils. In the second floor there were a lot of pictures from famous painters like Gericault, Monet, Degas or Cezzane.
For dinner we went to a typical restaurant here, where there are some famous British dishes. I ordered Roast Chicken with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and roast vegetables. Then we found one Christian pub, by chance, that had pancakes (these were really delicious!) and we met two girls. There you could play table tennis, card games and other board games.
We spent a nice day together. But in the night we told horror stories like The Jack Ripper or Bloody Mary's story... It was awful...

Tuesday 10.

Yesterday we had to find some sections for our magazine and we had to ask library staff too. Then we searched for a film to watch at night, in the end we chose a fiction film. Later we went to Christ's Pieces and then Maria, Esther and I went to a shopping centre. Little by little we move around Cambridge, for example I can go to Parker's Piece or other shopping centre. Yesterday we learnt some British food too and some day we will cook some dishes.
Later we went to PoundLand and bought some things for scrapbook like glitter, cardstock of some colours and confetti. PoundLand has a lot of things for only £1, there are flags of the UK and other things for the Olympics Games too, some food and other curious things.
At night we started to make a scrapbook and we had to make letters with cardstocks and then we decorated the letters and put names of activities in the cardstocks. It was a funny work :)

Tour around Cambridge

Yesterday we went on a tour around Cambridge, we visited a lot of the Colleges of Cambridge, for example, King's College, which is the biggest college in Cambridge. It has a big chapel where the choir sings. We listened to the choir too, it was impressive. We visited Trinity College too and Claudia told us a story about Prince Charles and his body guard. We walked near the River Cam, and we saw punts on river, they were fantastic. We were at the Eagle pub, it was near King's College and this pub was where the discoverers of DNA went everyday to breakfast and this pub had an old graffity of Second World War too.
We visited Emmanuel College, Market Place, Christ's College, St Mary's Church, Clare College and Queen's College too.
Mathematical Bridge was another place we went to. It's an interesting and important bridge because it was the first bridge built with mathematical calculations.
In the evening we did the dinner and later we had to do a summary about the places we visited and we told the jokes we found.

Yesterday

Cambridge is a big city, but it is easy to move around here because there are a lot of buses and taxis although not all are nice, but in genereal people are friendly. Yesterday, we woke up early and we had breakfast. Later, we went shopping to the supermarket. Then we went to a shopping centre. This is very big, and around there are a lot of shops and cafes. We went to do the library card, which we had to do alone with a little bit help of the teachers, then we had to ask in the tourist information office and we bought a map too.
Later we had lunch and then we went shopping, we tried on some clothes, I hope I can come back because I want to buy some clothes.
In the evening, we went to a big park where there were a lot of bookstalls and two concerts too, we were at an Indian concert and it was so cool. Later, after missing the bus, we arrived at the guest house and one group cooked as the other group was having a shower. At the dinner, the soup was disgusting because there were a lot of pieces of vegetables and... It was awful! But stuffed eggs were delicious, but the bad things didn't finish because ice-cream was awful too, it tasted like Apiretal.
But the day was fantastic.

Cambridge and me

Today it's a bad day in Cambridge, because it's grey, like yesterday, but it still hasn't rained. Our task today is to search for jokes for tonight, create our blogs and later write in our diaries. After this we're going to have lunch and later we're going to walk around Cambridge and visit the King's College.
It's a bit difficult to get used to Cambridge because everything is new for me: people, manners, meal times and the weather. I hope I can learn the English lifestyle and the customs from here.
